2012

  • Founders Darren and Martin determine that there is a gap in the market for intuitive SaaS business management solutions targeting SMEs in emerging markets.

2013

  • Darren and Martin develop a modern scalable SaaS platform on which the application is built using the latest industry standards.

2014

  • They go through a phase of rapid idea generation and development where they evaluate, screen and test multiple ideas.
  • They set their sights on the country with the largest concentration of SMEs – China.

2015

  • BIZGO Technology (China) is incorporated with just 7 employees.
  • Software is localised to comply with China’s accounting and tax reporting regulations and is validated by professionals from different industries.
2016

  • BIZGO completes Series A funding.
  • Software is pilot launched in selected industries.
  • BIZGO gains traction with its fully featured and user friendly solution.
  • BIZGO opens new China HQ in Suzhou with a team of 50 employees.
  • First Channel Partner office in Beijing is set up.
  • By the end of the year, 4,762 SMEs are running their business on BIZGO.
2017

  • To cope with expanding demand, BIZGO sets up 10 branch offices around China.
  • BIZGO successfully completes Series B funding.
  • BIZGO wins the ‘2017 Chinese Science & Technology Innovative Demonstration’ award in China.
  • CEO Darren Eng is awarded ‘Cultivated Chinese Science & Technology Innovative Leader’ by china.com.cn.
  • Through constant product development, BIZGO closes the year with 102,126 customers.
  • The BIZGO team expands to 500 employees at the end of the year.
2018

  • BIZGO expands internationally with offices in India and Indonesia.
  • Rapid growth in China continues with 183,000 users in the first 6 months of the year; on track to hit 300,000 users by the end of the year.
  • 800th employee joins BIZGO in May 2018.

Francis Rozario, Director

Francis has had an established banking and finance career spanning more than four decades across the world.  He is currently the founding chairman and CEO of Asia Capital and Advisors Pte Ltd.Francis had a 28-year career at Citibank, leading businesses worldwide. In his last post as the Global Head of Commercial and SME banking, he developed a new model for Citibank SME/Commercial Banking across emerging markets and obtained credit policy approval for a new risk model. The model was rolled out across 15 countries successfully and delivered a 20% return on equity.

Prior to setting up Asia Capital and Advisors Pte Ltd, Francis was the CEO of Fullerton Financial Holdings, a Temasek Holdings’ subsidiary with plenty of success investing in Asian banks.

Bernard Ngiam, Director

Bernard is the Executive Director of IPC and has served on IPC’s board of directors since 1985. He graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Martin Wang, Chief Operating Officer & Co-founder

As the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of BIZGO, Martin is responsible for the efficiency of the business – overseeing the company’s operations and procedures to drive extensive and sustainable growth. He manages the sales function and drives revenue and growth.

Prior to BIZGO, Martin ran his own software development company which delivered multiple large-scale turnkey projects for customers such as the Land Transport Authority, Central Provident Fund Board, Info-communications Development Authority, and Economic Development Board.

An expert in the field of technology, Martin has extraordinary logical thinking and leadership skills. With 13 years of entrepreneurship experience under his belt, he is very in-tune with industry trends and is always on the lookout for good opportunities. Endowed with a global macro vision and strategic mindset, Martin is able to think on his feet and execute swiftly. He is very people-oriented and his management style is holistic and transparent. Deeply intrigued by the latest internet technologies, SaaS cloud services, intelligent management and fintech, he is constantly experimenting with them here at BIZGO.

Martin obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore, under the Ministry of Education’s scholarship programme.

Rom Wang, Chief Product Officer

Rom is the Chief Product Officer of BIZGO and is responsible for building our multi-tenant SaaS integrated financial service platform. He works closely with our target customers, assessing their potential needs and determining the type of products that are likely to experience high demand. He is also in charge of establishing sales targets and developing strategic sales plans that will drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Rom has 12 years of experience in development and architecture, and 5 years of experience in team building and management. He has made great achievements in product strategy, structure re-organisation, product innovation, product training and setting new business directions.

He has previously served as the Chief Product Officer at Syscloud – a high-tech enterprise that provides cloud switching network services for enterprises. Prior to Syscloud, he spent the bulk of his career at Hewlett-Packard Limited in multiple roles including System Architect, Module Leader and Technical Manager. He was also the Technical Consultant for Huawei’s financial accounting system project, which was key in providing financial analysis and decision support for Huawei’s global business development.

Being a true-blue tech enthusiast, Rom is always delving into the latest internet technologies, big data, supply chain management, blockchain and system design, exploring ways to introduce best-in-class technologies to BIZGO.

Rom holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Sanxia University.

Liu Libing, Chief Finance Officer

Libing is the Chief Finance Officer of BIZGO and is responsible for finance, corporate & legal affairs, investment and mergers & acquisitions.

He is a veteran in the field of financial accounting with deep taxation, securities law and IPO listings experience. Libing has held key positions – CFO at Shanghai Hua Bi, Deputy Finance Director at the Shanghai-listed Hengtong Group, Deputy Finance Manager at Shenchiwan (a company under the Shenzhen-listed China Merchants Group) and Chief Section Member in Xingang Group. In 2014, Libing founded his own consultancy firm that specializes in investment, financing risk control and IPO financial advisory services.

A financial maven who is skilled in regulatory processes, internal risk controls, capital operation and management, Libing is particularly interested in tax co-ordination, legal risk management, investment and mergers & acquisitions.

Libing holds a Master’s degree in Financial Accounting from Shanghai University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and securities practitioner.

Sushil Singh, Chief Growth Officer

Sushil is the Chief Growth Officer of BIZGO and he is responsible for the international business, growth strategies, marketing and PR. He also leads the corporate office in Singapore.

Sushil has held various leadership roles – General Manager (Asia) at Acumatica, Alliance Director (Asia Pacific & Japan) at NetSuite, General Manager (Asia Pacific) at HansaWorld, Managing Director (Asia) at Sellbytel and multiple regional positions across sales, marketing and engineering during his 10 years at Microsoft. He is a Certified Public Accountant with deep enterprise business application and platform experience. He has a keen interest in emerging technologies such as Blockchain & Distributed Ledger Technology, Robotic Process Automation and Neuro-Linguistic Programming and is committed to bringing the real-world benefits of these technologies to our users.

Sushil is a strategic thinker who motivates and inspires with his high energy personality. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Curtin University.

Yip Kean Mun, Chief Corporate Development Officer

Kean Mun is the Chief Corporate Development Officer of BIZGO, responsible for capital raising and corporate finance activities like investor relationship management and establishing BIZGO’s capital market development roadmap. He also assists in the development of our governance structure and procedure, capitulating our standards to commensurate with listed entities, thereby positioning us for a presence in the international capital market.

Kean Mun has 30 years of experience in investment and commercial banking. He has held leadership positions in various leading banks in the region – Assistant VP of DBS Bank, Director of Investment Banking at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and Standard Chartered Bank, COO at Hong Leong Capital Malaysia and Head of Investment Banking at Industrial & Commercial Bank, Singapore. He was also Division Head of Corporate Banking at Standard Chartered and General Manager of Hong Leong Bank Malaysia. He started his own investment banking practice by setting up Genesis Capital in Singapore and co-founding Fullgolden Asset Management Partnership in Beijing, which manages over CNY 1 billion in movies & art and first-phase infrastructure funds in Shanxi Province.

He has done major capital raising and M&A transactions in the region, notably IPOs of investment funds on the Singapore Exchange such as the ASEAN Fund, Thai Prime Fund and the Transpac Fund that invests in innovation and entrepreneurial ventures. Amongst others, Kean Mun has engineered the transfer of listing of the renowned Jardine Group of companies from Hong Kong to Singapore and pioneered the IPOs of Chinese companies in Singapore. He has extensive experience in the Northeast market including IPOs and RTOs of China-based companies on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and raising capital in Taiwan. He is completing a massive USD 1 billion acquisition for a Hong Kong-listed company which he has grown for IPO.

Kean Mun holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (2nd Upper Honours) from National University of Singapore and is accredited by the China State Council Research Centre as one of the Top 100 Influential Finance Practitioners in Asia Financial Markets.

Ding Weimin, Chief Technology Officer

Weimin is the Chief Technology Officer of BIZGO and he heads the Research & Development department, providing technical leadership in all aspects of our business.

He spent 14 years at Hewlett-Packard Limited where he spearheaded numerous projects in his role as Architect. He was responsible for requirement analysis, prototyping, architecture, design, core code development, team guidance, test instructions and online problem handling for different types of projects. He was also in-charge of the KFC order platform and SuperAPP in China.

Prior to Hewlett-Packard, Weimin amassed his expertise in solution architecture during his tenure at Neusoft Gold Abacus Software Co. Ltd. (Shanghai R&D Centre) and Beijing Taike Information System Co. Ltd.

A true technophile at heart, Weimin always stays on top of the latest technological trends, R&D and applications. He is particularly interested in systems architecture, big data and Artificial Intelligence (AI), and he brings his tech fervour to BIZGO.

Weimin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Automation from Beijing University of Chemical Technology.

Sammi Yang, Chief Human Resource Officer

Sammi is the Chief Human Resource Officer of BIZGO and is responsible for HR strategies, compensation, training & development and labour relations.

Sammi has more than 12 years of HR management experience – she was previously the Management Centre Director of Shanghai Ruifang Network Technology Co. Ltd., where she oversaw HR operations, administration and risk management at the corporate headquarters, branches and affiliates.

She honed her HR management skills during her tenure as the Eastern Region Personnel Manager of Guangzhou Jinyi Television Group, Recruitment Manager of Far East Clothing (Suzhou) Co. Ltd. and Administrative Head of Shanghai Fuyoute (Suzhou) Co. Ltd.

Sammi is passionate about all things HR – building HR systems, designing HR workflows, management processes, team building and talent development. As a people-oriented individual, she is extremely interested in psychology and communication studies, and she applies her interest to her work at BIZGO.

Sammi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Administrative Management from Nanjing University.

Tan Thiam Hee, Advisor

Thiam Hee has been the CEO of Emerging Towns & Cities Singapore Ltd since 2015. Prior to that, he served as the CEO and Managing Director (MD) of Koon Holdings Limited (Singapore).

He held the chairmanship of GPS Alliance Holdings Limited and assumed the directorship of Cedar Strategic Holdings Ltd, JES International Holdings Ltd and Abterra Ltd. He was also the Secretary and Group Financial Controller of Haw Par Corporation Ltd.

Thiam Hee is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore and CPA Australia, a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors and a Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore.

Christopher Chong, Advisor

Christopher co-founded ACH Investments in 1998 and currently serves as Partner. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of HSBC Securities (Singapore) (formerly known as HSBC James Capel Securities (Singapore)). He also served as Executive Director of UOB Kay Hian Holdings.

Christopher has extensive knowledge and experience in the financial markets and corporate governance; he serves as Advisor to regional families, international funds and assumed directorship in numerous public companies across Asia Pacific. He has served on the boards of Singapore O&G, ASL Marine Holdings, Ying Li International Real Estate, and Lorenzo International. He holds investment advisory licenses in Hong Kong, Australia, Jakarta, KL, Makati (Philippines), Bangkok and through ACH, an exempt license in Singapore.

Christopher has won many research and regional strategy awards in Singapore, Hong Kong and China including the Asiamoney Poll as Top Singapore Analyst in 1997.

Christopher has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (1st Class) from University College of Wales and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from London Business School. He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Directors, a Fellow of the Australian Securities & Derivatives Industry Association, a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Directors. Christopher holds a post-graduate diploma in Corporate Governance from the Australian Institute of Directors.
